Parco dei Medici,
We were there for 2 weeks, 10-24.11. The weather was still good, 20-21 the first week; the temperature dropped for the second week, but it was still sunny. The course is really nice, plenty of room on the fairways, you find your ball, the difficulty comes on the greens. Sloping, slippery. An excellent place for a golfer (maybe not for a non-golfer). From the hotel a good 100 m and we were on the course. The place is near Rome airport, between motorways, so you have to leave by car if you're looking for anything else. A shuttle runs to Rome two or three times a day.

The apartment at Terre dei Consoli was very good, clean, functional and spacious, and all the arrangements were as set in Golf Breaks Italy's package. A little improvement would not hurt the general appearance of the residential area. There was no need to book golf times, so we had time to enjoy the morning coffee. The course was challenging but the views were great. Transitions were in rather poor condition, so pulling the cart was sometimes really hard. The food in the clubhouse restaurant was excellent and the clubhouse personnel very friendly. You definitely need to have a car.We have stayed several times on a long-stay golf holiday at Terre dei Consoli. The course is challenging and suits players of all levels. The course can be played at different lengths (orange, green, red, yellow, white and black tees) and an added spice is the elevation changes and slippery greens. So even after many rounds, new challenges remain for future rounds. The course has been renovated over the years and it has been in good condition. The great advantages of a Terre dei Consoli long-stay holiday are unlimited golf, free manual carts and range balls.
The clubhouse is impressive and the staff friendly.
The golf resort is near the course. We have stayed in a standard-level townhouse apartment (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a yard). It is tidy, cosy and functional.
We recommend a rental car, because it is about 1 km to the course and about 3 km to the small nearby town of Monterosi. A rental car also makes it possible to get to know many interesting sights and charming small towns nearby.I have been to Terre dei Consoli three times. In my opinion a very nice place. The apartments are excellent. Good location and the area is peaceful. The small village of Monterosi is close and it has good services. Lake Bracciano is about 20 km away and there are lots of nice little places there. The Terre dei Consoli course is pleasant and interesting. You don't get bored of it. And best of all, there is room on the course and a very relaxed atmosphere.
I RECOMMEND IT.
I myself am going for the fourth time, now for the first time in spring. And Jaana's service is very goodOur golf holiday at Terre dei Consoli in October–November 2024 was a positive experience. We chose the destination partly for the ease of travelling and because it was a new place. Italy as a country also attracts, and its charm had not evaporated anywhere. The course is beautiful and very challenging. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant services mostly work well. Playing without tee times is relaxing, because there was always room on the course. We stayed in a villa where you could drive right up to the door on the lowest floor. The villa was furnished with IKEA furniture, which in itself was tidy, homely and functional in general. Unfortunately the details had received less attention, especially regarding the kitchen equipment and the reading lights in the bedrooms. The shower trays in the bathrooms were too small. The heating worked well. With a little effort the apartment could have been made excellent. The beauty of Lazio surprised us. There is a lot to explore in the surrounding area. We also went to Rome by train. This went well and inexpensively. Getting around by car also works as long as you keep your senses alert, but we knew that already. Apart from a couple of drizzly days, we could not have hoped for better weather. We were at Terre dei Consoli for the 3rd time. The golf course was always in good condition and is fun to play. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The apartments are showing their age somewhat, so it is advisable to take a Superior, because everything there (bathrooms, kitchen, beds...) has been renewed. The “front gardens” could be made attractive with little effort (bushes, flowers). Can only recommend long stay at Terre dei Consoli. House and golf course very nice. Booking via Golfbreaks Italy without problems, questions were answered quickly. Now we found our place. The Terre dei Consoli course was in good condition and interestingly challenging. There was room to play on the course. The apartment was tidy and spacious, and well equipped. We were at Terre dei Consoli for 4 weeks in February 2024. The villa was at the edge of the course and the price included unlimited golf and range balls. The course was in great condition and the trip was otherwise a great experience too, and we have already booked a new 4-week trip to the same place. We have been to Terre Dei Consoli several times on Golf Breaks Italy trips and we have received good service. The apartments are tidy, the area is peaceful and the golf course next door guarantees a great holiday. Monterosi has a good shop and a few restaurants. The nearby towns have great places to visit.I played the Robert Trent junior Trail last summer and it was an amazing experience.
Jaana did an outstanding job and her support was very helpful.
The golf courses are challenging but always fair and all 3 of them were in an excellent shape. Hotel recommendations where perfect - only La Bagnaia Resort had a very very bad Management and the Hotel wasn‘t worth one cent - not the Golf Course at La Bagnaia which was outstanding. If you stay there better take a Hotel at Siena - Jaana will be at your service. So, I will come back for sure and you will fall in love with RTJ trail in Italy once started… appreciate the support from JaanaFour wonderful weeks at Terre dei Consoli passed as if on wings. The magnificent and demanding Championship course and the considerably easier 9-hole Family course made sure that we really did play almost daily on the golf holiday. Tee times did not need to be booked in advance, which made the start of a round, so often so stressful, much more relaxed. You could also go to the range to practise in a relaxed way, since range balls were included in the price of the trip! The location was also excellent for exploring historical sights; on the shore of nearby Lake Bracciano there was, among others, the nice village of Trevignano and in Bracciano a magnificent castle. In Viterbo there was a really great natural mineral spa, where on Mondays, when the golf courses were being maintained, you could relax muscles sore from golf. We also visited Tivoli (2 UNESCO World Heritage sites), Orvieto (the well of pozzo di san Patrizio, likewise a UNESCO World Heritage site), the amazing Civita di Bognoregio (the so-called Dying Village, which erosion threatens to topple from its place), a village festival and autumn market in the village of Vignanello, and we even once drove to the Tuscan side for a wine tasting in the village of Montepulciano. It was less than 200 km there too, a large part of it on motorway! It is not worth going to Rome with your own car, but near the train station in Cesano there were plenty of parking spaces and from there the train to central Rome cost one euro! You absolutely must have a car at your own disposal, since it is 2 km to the village of Monterosi. It has all the necessary services, including an excellent Conad shop for groceries.
Our apartment was tidy and bright and fairly well equipped. All in all we were taken really good care of during our holiday and all our wishes were fulfilled! Grazie mille, perhaps again next year!A couple of years ago we were at Terre dei Consoli. Excellent course (heavy, demanding) and apartments. Back then there was a little trouble with meals, but probably it's fine by now.
Now this year in April and at the turn of October/November 2 weeks in Jesolo. Course flat, quite OK, good for people with leg problems. The apartments right next door. Under 100 m to the 1st tee and 50 m from the 9th/18th holes to the apartment. Really easy, club/restaurant staff friendly. Apartments OK, but a little room for improvement in equipment (e.g. scarce dishes). Definitely worth renting bikes. For about a hundred / 2 weeks, good bikes, on which it's under 10 min to the seafront and beach restaurants.
Both destinations excellent value for moneyWe spent three weeks at Terre dei Consoli and it was indeed a splendid experience. The apartment was very good, the golf course demanding and challenging but above all nice. The arrangements worked flawlessly.Feedback Cosmopolitan. Staff friendly. The course is really nice, relatively long, and although there are no elevation changes, it is pleasing to the eye with its mounds, trees and ponds. Challenging, not easy. The apartments are really nice and tidy, clean. A surprise that the cleaners came every day, changed the towels, folded the shirts left on the bed. From the apartments less than 100 m to the club and the first fairway. It's also a short way to the “village”, where there are a few places to eat, a couple of which are quite OK. Minuses: only one small Coop shop with a very small selection (though you can manage with it). The biggest problem for our group, the same though in Jesolo and Terre dei Consoli too, is dining. We always want to head out for a round preferably between nine and ten, and we are hungry right after the round, but the restaurants are closed from three until six or half past six. All in all, however, a nice place.Your review
