In the area of Lake Maggiore, there are five major golf courses that all together count 117 holes.

Only at a half-an-hour drive from Milan's Malpensa airport in the direction of Lake Maggiore, there is Castelconturbia Golf Resort. 27 holes designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The Yellow Course is scenographic and evocative, the Blue Course is balanced between competitive difficulties and refined beauty, and the Red Course is the longest and challenging for any golfer. In the same premises, there is Castelconturbia Golf Hotel that boasts a breathtaking view of the surrounding green and Monte Rosa, the second-highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe. The 19 elegantly furnished cosy rooms of the hotel have been completely renovated in 2017.

A 15-minute drive from Castelconturbia and you are at Bogogno Golf Resort. Bogogno has two 18-hole courses: the Bonora Course, a lively design reminiscent of a parkland course, and the Conte Course, reminiscent of a links course, designed by Von Hagge, Smelek & Baril. The resort has a modern 50-room hotel with a spa area offering relaxing treatments. Outside pool opens from June to September for the guests of the hotel.
